Pinterest Video Downloader

Save public Pinterest video Pins as MP4 in the quality the source provides — paste a pin or pin.it link.

By using our service you accept our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We are not affiliated with Pinterest.

Quick answer

Open the public video Pin, tap Share → Copy link, paste it into the box above, then choose an available quality and download.

How to download a Pinterest video

  1. Open the video Pin. Find the public Pinterest Pin with the video you want.
  2. Copy the link. Tap Share (or the ⋯ menu), then Copy link. Short pin.it links are fine.
  3. Paste it in. Paste the complete URL into the link box at the top of this page.
  4. Pick a quality. Choose one of the available options and select Download.

Supported Pinterest links

Links in the pinterest.com/pin/… form (including country domains such as pinterest.co.uk) and short pin.it/… share links are accepted, as long as the Pin contains a video and is publicly visible.

Why use Video Downloader Plus for Pinterest

Free, no sign-up

No account, no extension and no software to install — paste a link and download.

Every available quality

All the resolutions Pinterest offers for the video are listed, plus MP3 audio when it is available.

Phone, tablet and PC

Works in any modern browser. Android users can also get the app.

Private by design

We only read the public link you paste. Your Pinterest account is never involved.

What isn't supported

  • Pins on secret boards or that need a login to view.
  • Image-only Pins (this tool saves the video of a Pin).
  • Pins that have been deleted since being shared.

If a link fails, confirm it opens in a private/incognito browser tab without signing in — see the link troubleshooting guide.

Frequently asked questions

Does the pin.it short link work?

Yes. Paste it exactly as copied from Share and it is resolved to the full Pin.

Can I download Pinterest images?

This page is for video Pins. Image-only Pins are outside its scope.

Can I download Idea Pins with several clips?

The video the Pin provides is listed; some multi-page Idea Pins only expose part of their content publicly.

Why did my Pinterest link fail?

Usually an image-only Pin, a secret board, or a link that wasn't copied in full. See Troubleshooting & Help.
